This is an 8.5x 6 inch 1921 Swamp-Root Almanac. The front of the Almanac has a border of coins on its right side, on the front is a picture of a female Native American wearing red and in the background are some trees and Native American dwellings, as well as two other Native Americans. Under the title of the booklet it says 'Dr. Kilmer and Co. Binghamton, N.Y.' On the back of the booklet is a smaller picture of a Native American male in a large headdress shooting a bow and arrow. Under the picture of the man is a light green square with a tan and blue border with a buffalo head at the bottom. Inside the square reads 'The May Pharmacy, Drugs, Medicines, Perfumes, Toilet Articles, Soaps, Brushes, Combs and a Full Line of Druggists' Sundries. Prescriptions Carefully Compunded. West Side Square, Martinsville, Ind.' The almanac has a large picture of Swamp Root, Kidney Medicine on the inside cover. The almanac includes a page for each month of the year and information about weather and important historical information about the days of the months. On the opposite side of each month's page is a page about Kidney and Liver health, or general health tips. The book is on presumably newspaper paper, thin and grainy and has mostly all black print except the cover and back. The booklet is held together in the object's top right corner with a small pink ribbon threaded through a small hole that goes through the whole book. It is also held together with two staples running along the object's right side.
