It reads, 'SACRED in the memory of ISAAC VAN BUSKIRK who was born in Virginia October 7th 1760.'. The middle portion is illegible. At the bottom is his death date of October 27, 1813. At the foot of the marker is a portion of a spiked wheel with a wing coming from its side. Carved at the top of the marker is a weeping willow tree. Behind the stone and on its right is another upright stone that in the sun shines bright white. Trees in bright green can be seen in the background. The grass is green all around. On the backside in black ink and in print is written, '8-4-01 Gravesite of Rev. War Patriot Isaac Van Buskirk Cemetery in Bean Blossom Twp, Monroe County, near Gosport, IN.'.
