The reservoir is in the background, and is surrounded by rolling hills with leafless trees all around. There is snow on the ground. In the foreground there is a road that runs along the edge of the lake. There is a Ford Model A parked on the side of the road. The dam is visible on the left edge of the photograph. There are power lines running horizontally across the top of the photograph, 1.25" from the top.
