Color photograph of grave marker, 4"x6", 2002. Image shows a large upright tombstone in a light gray color. Carved into it reads, 'John Snoddy' with the rest unreadable. The stone is set amongst brush and leafless trees. Few green foliage peers from the brown leaves and ground. The stone is not fully photographed, but can be seen to come to a point towards the top. At the right is a purple smudge that may have been a finger on the lense when the photograph was taken. There is ink scribbles over the top of the purple splotch. A red hue comes from the right bottom of the image on the front. On the backside reads in black ink and in print, '12-02-02 Gravesite of Rev. War soldier John Snoddy in Surben Cemetery'.
Image was taken in 2002 by Ed Hitchcock for the INSSAR Graves Project. Image is printed on Kodak paper.
