Beta Theta Phi House |
Description |
Beta Theta Phi House photograph, 8"x10", c1907. Photograph is a reproduction inkjet print from the original 1907 photograph that was scanned and archived for the Faces and Places project at the Monroe County Historical Society in 2007. Image is of the front of the Beta Theta Phi House with a young leafless tree in front of the house. Snow appears on the ground on portions of the porch and second story roofes. At the bottom left of the image are the Greek letters in white standing for Beta Theta Phi. Behind the Beta Theta Phi House a portion of a small shed is visible. There appear to be three steps visible in the photograph leading from the sidewalk in front of the Beta Theta Phi House up to a snow-covered walkway to the house. To the right of the Beta Theta Phi House is a two-story, possibly three-story house with a very tall chimney. Behind this house is a roof of a small shed. To the left of the Beta Theta Phi House is a portion of another house with trees behind it. Near this house, there appears to be a child's swing or a backyard, free standing swing. |
