It seems Robert is quite a singer. Earl gave up his position as teacher and holds something with the government. I gathered it was accounting for one of the many agencies. The pay is higher but nothing seems to give much security these days and I'm wondering if he will be sorry he made the change. / I have not taken any medicine as such for sometime. Recently a friend told me of some one in Los Angeles who had been so successful after doctors failed so I tried again. This man is a North American Indian, Musick by name, an uncle of the man who heads the Pacific Air Service. He is not a doctor, but calls himself a chemist. His remedy is in pill form and easy to take. It acts as a laxative but is more than that. I've had more benefit from it than anything I've ever tried and the price is ridiculously low. I've spent about $700 in the last 2 1/2 years with little to show for it. / Musick seems to have clairvoyant powers and tells you what is wrong by looking at you. He told somethings I knew were true so I have reason to believe the others are, too. He reads for anyone you ask him to, whether the person is present or not. I am feeling very hopeful but time will tell the final result. / We do not have the flowers this spring that were in evidence last year. The rains were late and then there was an unseasonable cold spell. My house mate drove to Boulder Dam between Arizona and Nevada, which we had both visited a year ago. Now that it is finished she found it a much greater thrill. / We are finishing our last year in the bungalows on half-day sessions. All other junior high schools have a beginning of permanent buildings and are on full time. My school is to be merged with another so it will be a grand moving day for all. / I hope your health permits you to make yourself useful and that Estella keeps well. Will be glad to hear from you. As ever, Magala E. Shulz." |
