Sepia tone photograph of the interior of the Harris Grand, 9.5"x7", date unknown. "Publix-Harris Grand Theater" is written in black ink in the lower left hand corner of the print. The photograph was taken with the photographer standing on the stage and facing out to the empty house. There are about 30 rows of seating on the ground level and there is a balcony with seating as well. There are three columns of seating (Left, center and right). The front of the balcony is decorated with an elaborate floral design, in panels. There is some faint wallpaper on the walls, and some more elaborate decorations on the wall. In the foreground, the stage and floor lights are visible. There are several doors on either side as well as the back. |
